Join the Mobile Heroes Slack Community

Have you ever had a burning user acquisition related question that needed an immediate answer with nobody to ask? Well, you’re in luck. Liftoff has created a Mobile Heroes Slack community and we are welcoming all mobile app marketers to join the conversation.

What is it?

Mobile Heroes began as a program to highlight the everyday “Heroes” who successfully market mobile apps. But what started as a program to support and provide valuable resources for marketers of non-gaming apps has grown into a global community of over 50 thought leaders (and counting) across all app categories, sharing knowledge to advance the mobile marketing world.

Today, we’re opening up that community with the launch of our Mobile Heroes Slack channel. It will be a place for mobile app marketers to connect and learn from each other by sharing knowledge, resources, and opportunities across all app categories and regions. With unique channels (discussions) moderated by distinguished marketers and Mobile Heroes, this community is ready to take on any discussion related to mobile marketing.

Channels and Moderators

The Heroes Slack community will include a variety of channels including:

  • And more….

App marketers, growth marketers and everyone in between is welcome to join. Just let us know who you are and if you qualify, you’re in.

Already have Slack?

Once approved, you will receive an email invitation from the Mobile Hero Slack workspace.

  1. Check your inbox for an email invitation from Slack.
  2. Click Join Now.
  3. Enter your full name and optional display name, create a password, then click Next.

Don’t have Slack?

The first thing you’ll need to do is download the Slack app on iOS or Android. If joining by Desktop, you will join via the email invitation that comes directly from Slack.

Once approved by Liftoff, you will get an email invitation from the Mobile Hero Slack workspace.

  1. Check your inbox for an email invitation from Slack.
  2. Click Join Now.
  3. Enter your full name and optional display name, create a password, then click Next.

Once you sign in

  1. Upload a profile photo and add a short bio in your profile.
  2. You will already be included in a bunch of helpful channels, such as #general, #user-acquisition, and #news. There are more, though! Join more channels most interesting to you.
  3. Tell us a little bit about yourself in the #general channel.
  4. Join conversations in channels or chat with other mobile app marketers via private messages.

Mobile Hero Slack Community Guidelines

  • Chat is searchable and public. Do not make comments that you would not say on a video recording or in another public space.
  • All members deserve to have a positive experience.
  • Be courteous to others.
  • It’s important that conversations stay on topic in each channel.
  • As a space for industry specific knowledge sharing, please avoid advertising products and services (unless it’s in context and adding value to the conversation). Please notify one of our admins if a vendor contacts you for any reason.

We reserve the right to deactivate accounts at our discretion should anyone choose not to abide by the spirit of our community guidelines.
